Liberty World (also known as Liberty Hotels Version 5) was the fifth and final installment in the Liberty Hotels franchise. Originally starting development in March of 2022, it would eventually see a launch on May 3rd, 2023. The game eventually would be abandoned in May 2024.

Updates

Liberty World has seen 13 updates since releasing in May 2023. The most recent update being the World of Tour update.

The Great Updates

The Great Updates were a series of updates that started with the Life Update in February 2024 and would have a series of monthly updates that would lead to the Summer of 2024.

Life Update:

The Life Update was an update that released on February 12th, 2024. This update saw the avatar editor, families, bar seating, lobby furniture, and also major bug fixes. The Life Update served as the first update with a name, the first of the Great Updates.

World of Tour Update:

The World of Tour Update was an update that released on March 21st, 2024. This update was first teased on March 14th, 2024. This update saw the return of the Memory Events, a new leveling system, rebirths, automated ranking¹, the ability to see past changelog notes, shadow bans, subway decoration, cars, trees, overhead redesign, and a remodeled Liberty Hotel reception.

Shakes Update:

The Shakes Update was a planned update that was first teased briefly in March 2024. This update was planned to overhaul the milkshake system from Liberty Oasis by introducing seasoning and more ways to enhance the creation of milkshakes. However, the update was delayed at first before being scrapped when Liberty Hotels was discontinued in May 2024. This update was revealed to have been planned on May 16th, 2024. It was originally planned to release on April 2nd, 2024.

Guest Update

The Guest Update was a planned update that was teased briefly in April 2024. This update was planned to overhaul the pool and reintroduce the gym, spa, and sauna. It was among one of the updates to have been scrapped when Liberty Hotels ceased operations. This update was originally planned to release on April 21st, 2024.

Birthday Update

The Birthday Update was a planned update that was originally was going to be tied with Liberty World’s 1st birthday celebration. Not many features were revealed, as the update was early in planning when the game ceased operations. It was planned to release on May 1st, 2024.

NPC Update

The NPC Update was a planned update that would have introduced NPC customers for both the reception and bar. It would have been the first time that NPCs were added as actual guests in the franchise’s history. It originally was planned to release on May 17th, 2024.

Reception Update

The Reception Update was a planned update that would have overhauled the Reception area and also overhaul the booking system. It is entirely unknown what would be overhauled exactly, as it was early in planning when the game ceased operations. It was planned to release on June 4th, 2024.

Electrical Update

The Electrical Update was a planned update that would have introduced utilities, repairman, and more features available for staff, including appliances and objects that would require Maintenance. It was teased briefly in-game with a wrench and box by the Fridge and Freezer in the bar. It was planned to release on June 19th, 2024.
