College Architect utilizes NBT Data to save its campus files. We separate out our Campus files into a few categories, or what may be called compounds or lists. Campus files are saved in a .CAMPUS format, and will be saved in either location depending on your operating system.

We also allow for campus files to be placed directly in the game’s install directory, where the executable and your game local files are housed.
