How Skyranis Studios was formed?
The studio itself has existed for at least 6 years as a community on the Roblox platform. Though, as we grew to greater passions and greater visions, we have decided to take on the step of publishing our own projects on Steam. The studio itself has existed since January 2021, though we have only started developing under this name separate from the Roblox Platform in 2026.
Liberty Island, or what was also known as the 3rd Version of Liberty Hotels, was the first game or project developed or published under the studio’s branding.
Liberty Oasis, or what was also known as the 4th version of the Liberty Hotels franchise, was developed throughout 2021 and eventually released on August 21st, 2021. This game saw the most number of updates and by far the longest development cycle of any projects. The game eventually closed briefly in October 2023, before reopening in January 2024. The game had received minor bug fixes and patches up until May 2026.
Bloxville, or what was also known as Liberty Hotel Super Secret, Project Olyvia, and My Bloxville. This project was in development for nearly 3 years, starting development in September 2023, and was meant to be a sandbox building and Sims-inspired game. This project was eventually canceled as a result of the actions made by Roblox in May 2026.
